Introductory Meditation Class

Hello, my friends. I'm writing to let my local readers know that I will be offering a four-week Introduction to Meditation class in April. The class will be held on Thursday nights from 5:45 to 6:30 at the First Congregational Church in Mansfield. The course begins on April 9, and is free and open to all.

In our time together, we will explore a variety of meditation techniques that help us lead calmer, clearer, wiser and happier lives. Sessions will include instruction, discussion and group practice. The techniques will be offered in a flexible and open-ended manner so that they can support any contemplative, spiritual or religious practice that is already a part of your life.

I love sharing the fruits of meditation and mindfulness with others, since it can be such a profound and eye-opening antidote to the stresses and strains of our busy modern lives. I hope you'll consider joining me, and I hope you'll share news of this class with anyone who might be interested in giving meditation a try.

I am also currently crafting an online meditation course that I hope to offer later this spring. The course is called Presence: A 30-Day Meditation Immersion, and it is designed to help new and experienced meditators more deeply explore this ancient practice with an online community of fellow practitioners. I am so very excited to get this course started - I've been spending every spare morsel of time I can find to get it ready for all of us.
