Presence: A 30-Day Meditation Immersion

May 14, 2015
As many of you know, I have been working feverishly this spring developing a month-long online meditation program. I've been asked so many times by so many folks how to get started with meditation in a way that can be incorporated into an already busy life. Presence: A 30-Day Meditation Immersion is my answer.

I am thrilled to invite you to join me on this adventure, which begins June 1. The course is entirely online (although if there are enough local participants we will meet up in person at some point during the month). The course can be done at your own pace and in your own way. And best of all, there are no quizzes, tests or grades. (There will, however, be homework, although it is entirely optional).

I have set a suggested fee of $50 for the monthlong course, but participants are welcome to set their own price if that feels like more than they are able to pay. I don't want anyone to be excluded for financial reasons!

My hope is that this offering will help fledgling meditators get started with a daily meditation practice, will deepen the meditation experience for those who already have a practice, and will offer lots of good food for thought for those who aren't necessarily interested in sitting quietly every day but would still like to learn more about the philosophy that underlies the world of meditation.

I have posted a bit more about the course, as well as information about how to enroll, here.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. And if you know of anyone who might be interested, you are welcome to share this news with them.

Also, remember that our yoga classes continue on Wednesday mornings at 9 at Yoga on Main in downtown Mansfield. And our meditation sessions continue on Thursday evenings at 5:45 at the First Congregational Church through the end of May. Please consider joining us at either of these weekly gatherings.

Thanks so much, and happy spring!
