Fall Offerings

Dear Friends -

As we head into fall, I am writing with an update about ongoing classes and offerings. I am so grateful for our community of friends practicing together in a variety of different ways: virtually, in-person, via email, and through recorded practices. However you participate, thank you for showing up and sharing the journey!

This fall I have several different ways for us to continue this adventure. I hope one - or more - will suit your needs and interests.

LIVE AND IN PERSON
Our Wednesday morning class has been gathering for decades, and even a pandemic can't keep us apart. This fall we are meeting outside on Wednesday mornings from 9 to 10:15 at local parks in Mansfield. We practice in the grass and among the trees, with ample shade, easy parking and access to restrooms. Bring a mat, blanket or chair if you like. (In inclement weather, we gather on Zoom.)

LIVE AND ONLINE
The pandemic has brought us together via Zoom on Monday nights at 7 PM for friendship, discussion, contemplation, movement and meditation. We share news, stories, recommendations, big thoughts, little thoughts and good cheer, often guided by a monthly deep dive into a favorite theme, teacher or author. We are a coast-to-coast group, with friends beaming in from near and far. 

This fall, we'll try a new experiment: 7 PM to 7:30 will be our time for discussion, and 7:30 PM to 8:15 will be dedicated to gentle movement (either qigong or yoga) followed by deep stillness (upright or reclined). Join us for discussion, practice or both.

GUIDED PRACTICE ON YOUR OWN SCHEDULE
For a year now, I've been sharing short-and-sweet guided audio practices that can be explored any time and any place. Practices include gentle movement, meditation, guided relaxation and contemplation. I email a practice to subscribers most Sunday mornings, and all of the practices can be found on our shared site. PRACTICE ARTICLES AND ESSAYS
My website houses hundreds of articles and essays that I've written throughout the last 25 years. My intention in all that I share is to help nourish an ever-deepening sense of ease, vitality and unshakable wellbeing, in both ourselves and the greater world. I hope you find something in the archives that enlivens and enriches your life.
