MEDITATION IN THE GALLERY
Mondays from 6 to 7 PM
 at the Mansfield Art Center
Ongoing - Free and open to all

Explore the power of calming the mind and relaxing into the present moment, in a beautiful setting among friends. Our meetings are open to both new and experienced meditators, and include instruction, discussion and practice. No registration is required - simply join us when you are able. (Donations are accepted to help support the program, but no payment is required.) 


FALL YOGA IN THE GALLERY
Wednesdays from 9 to 10:30AM
Mansfield Art Center
Five-week session beginning September 27
$55 for the session ($15 drop-in fee, if space is available)

Explore slow, gentle and meditative yoga in a warm and welcoming environment. All levels are welcome, and students are encouraged to tailor the sessions to suit their own needs.


YOGA BASICS
Thursdays from 5:30 to 6:30 PM
Mansfield Public Library Main Branch
Four week Fall session beginning October 5

Free and open to all 
Registration for this session is through the Mansfield Public Library

In this gentle introduction to yoga, students will explore ​movement, breathing and meditation practices​ ​that leave the body clear, the mind calm and the spirit soothed. All levels are welcome, and students are encouraged to tailor the sessions to suit their own needs.​ Curious about yoga? This class is for you!

THE ART OF YOGA: FLOW

The disciplines of art and yoga share much in common: clear-eyed vision, an exploration of the creative impulse, and a deep sensitivity to all of life. In The Art of Yoga, we'll explore these themes both on our yoga mats and in the art studio, considering how movement, breath and meditation can fuel and enliven the creative impulse that lies within each of us.

In this session, we’ll explore possibilities of flowing movements, first through a guided yoga class and then in the art studio. We’ll work with liquid paints to create abstract paintings that flow, spiral and dance across the canvas. No previous yoga or painting experience required!
